Where to purchase

The following articles contain purchase links for all of the above-described hardware & supplies

Labels & printers compatibility

Launchmetrics is not a hardware supplier or partner, but please find below what we have learned so far regarding labels and printer compatibility

Almost all zebra printer models come in one of 2 versions:

  • Direct Thermal (no ink ribbon)
  • Thermal Transfer (ink ribbon required for thermal transfer)

Labels come in multiple shapes and sizes, portrait or landscape orientation, but also different compatibilities/applications.

Before choosing the right labels, you need to know your printer version.

The most reliable way to do this is to identify the printer's part number: https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/000026166?language=en_US

Verify the printer's information by searching with the part number on this page. Is it a Direct Thermal / Thermal Transfer / Mixed Mode?

Once you have this detail you can go here

  • Pick the right printer that you identified based on the previous search
  • Choose
    • Media: labels
    • Printer Technology: you may either see one option or two here depending on the model
  • Then go through the other selections like Media Type and Width
  • Finally zebra will show you all compatible and recommended supplies.

Changing your printer

Should you wish to change your current printer model, please consult your hardware partner and supplier to confirm printer compatibility.

We recommend you purchase a model with the same DPI as your current model to avoid any label template redo.

Also, please make sure to inform your Customer Success Manager before any new purchase, so we can also validate software compatibility if needed.
